It is at the center of the PNRR, of the thoughts of many consumers, of the new generations who ask for a clean world in which to live. There sustainability will be one of the key themes of the Maker Faire Rome, scheduled from 8 to 10 October. The shift towards less impacting products, systems and transport can only pass through technological development. For this reason, the event will see many exhibitors who have made the preservation of the Planet a cornerstone of their studies.
One of the most curious developments, in this sense, is Compost, an innovative kitchen hood, capable of dehydrating food or transforming food waste into compost, using the heat coming from the hob. Thanks to thermo-ventilation, dehydration takes place in a few hours, completely eliminating the problem of unpleasant odors and obtaining a dry product or a pre-compost of the highest quality after twenty-four hours.
This process is encouraged by the automatic rotation of an internal perforated container, essential for complete ventilation and easily removable and washable. In the absence of heat coming from the hob, Komposta activates automatic low-power thermoventilation cycles, ensuring the correct finalization of the process. Komposta was born thanks to the work of CEO Alfonso Coppola, Alessandro Vergati, Roberta Coppola, Jacopo Derba and Francesco Mogliotti.
