If after Covid sex can go back to what it was before, in women who experience Long Covid the situation becomes more complicated. This chronic post-infection condition has been associated with increased sexual dysfunction with loss of desire, pain during sexual activities, reduced arousal, and inability to achieve orgasm. In short: Long Covid is having an impact on women’s sexual lives, and we still don’t know for how long and if the problems will be completely resolved.
