Talking about children’s pain frightens us as a horrible and unjust thing; the small child does not speak, cannot complain and his parents may not notice. We can enumerate many advances in childhood pain therapy with both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions; just think of the use of clown therapy in hospitals or of new analgesic drugs.
