The pixel-style adventure game “Core Keeper” (provisional translation, Core Keeper), developed by the Swedish game team Pugstorm, will launch EA Early Access on the Steam platform on March 8, and go deep into the underground cave with partners to uncover the mystery of the ancient core veil.
Players will play the role of an explorer who likes to study mysterious relics, wake up from an ancient cave one day, and start mining in the cave, collecting resources to build workstations, cultivating crops to make food, and embarking on an underground adventure in order to survive.
Play the explorer spirit, pick up the pickaxe to dig ore in the cave, build more tools to explore the underground area, and have the opportunity to discover hidden fossils and crystals.
At first, the empty environment was gradually transformed into a workstation capable of developing higher-tech equipment such as generators as the resources became more and more complete.
Crop seeds can also be found in caves, ploughing the soil to get food, or throwing ingredients into pots to cook, and eating well-prepared dishes can also gain additional ability bonuses.
After the civilian materials are complete, the next step is to bring a bunch of equipment to explore the unknown territory! On the way, you will also encounter biological attacks, defeat giant beasts to obtain crystals, and refine them into props with more powerful functions.
The game supports 1-8 players to play cooperatively. Explorers can visit each other’s caves, or mine resources, fight, farm, forge, and survive together.
“Core Guardian” will be open for pre-testing on March 8, and there are Demo demos available for free experience. The official said that the official version is expected to be released from the EA stage at the end of this year.
