Autumn, time for price increases. Also for Netflix: starting from 2 October, the prices for Standard (from 11.99 to 12.99 euros) and Premium (from 15.99 to 17.99 euros) subscriptions will increase) in Italy. The price of the basic plan will not change, remaining at 7.99 euro, as it has been from the beginning. These increases will be applied to all new subscribers from 2 October, while the current subscribers will begin to be notified by October 9, either by email and in the app 30 days before the price increase.
“Our primary goal is to deliver an entertainment experience that exceeds the expectations of our subscribers,” explains a spokesperson for the company. “We are updating our prices to reflect the improvements we make to our movie and show catalog and the quality of our service and, more importantly, to continue to give more options and bring value to our subscribers. We offer different subscription plans so that everyone can find the most satisfactory option for their needs “.
Netflix is the largest global streaming TV content platform: it has over 209 million users, and continues to grow, but no longer at the pace of some time ago.
