There are so many factors that can cause strokes and heart attacks. But according to some experts it would be better to avoid eating a typical local product.
Il food is the source of nourishment and obviously also of pleasure. A healthy and varied diet can certainly help us to get sick less. But when we learn that one of the most loved foods is risky, doubts can arise.
The correlation between nutrition and health is undeniable. They are the same medici who recommend adopting a healthy diet in order to avoid “avoidable” diseases as much as possible. Sure one we will never have mathematical certaintybut we can count on a myriad of Scientific studies that they give us excellent reasons per follow certain indications.

Let’s talk about the Pizza. L’Italian food par excellence, that delicious food that has made us love all over the world. But how is it possible that this delight could increase the risk of having a stroke or heart attack?
It must be said that unfortunately these two events I am most widespread among our population, and even they are there third cause of death after cancer and cardiovascular disease. Furthermore, stroke in Italy is also the leading cause of disabilities. “About 185,000 people suffer from stroke every year; of these 150,000 are new cases, while 35,000 are cases that recur after the first episode” (Fonte: Humanitas)
But of course the “blame” cannot be given by the fact that we eat Pizza. Of course, we must be careful, also because this food can hold us some nasty surprises. For example perhaps not everyone knows that inside the dough we can find large quantities of salteven up to 2 tsp.
Salt, as we know, is a precious substance for the health of the organism but if we abuse it we (also) encounter hypertension, which if prolonged over time can lead (also) to stroke.
Now, hence to say that “Pizza takes us to death” it is really an euphemism on the contrary and in bad taste (the pun is there) though we can take this information for what it is: and I invite you to always be careful about what we eatespecially if it comes to industrial food. They often hide excessive quantities of both salt and sugar, as well as of food additives that are certainly not good in the long run, as numerous studies claim.
So yes, let’s eat our beautiful Pizzabut possibly we establish a food plan with our doctor or a nutritionist that is adapted to our needs and peculiarities. All health will certainly benefit.
