Tragic accident in Crotone on 106, half off the road: two 73-year-olds and a 29-year-old died. All from Reggio

Tragedy in Crotone where three people died and another is very serious following a road accident that occurred around 3 pm in the Poggio Pudano district on the SS106, south of Crotone. One car involved, a pick up, which for reasons under investigation ended up off the road, flying down into a 7-8 meter high ditch. Three dead and one seriously injured. Two people died on the spotDomenico Battaglia, class of 50; and Santo Marcianò, also born in the 1950s), while another man, Antonio Carriago, 29 years old – at first extracted alive from the vehicle – then died shortly after arriving at the San Giovanni di Dio hospital due to the serious traumas suffered. A fourth person is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Crotone hospital. The four passengers of the vehicle are hunters from the province of Reggio Calabria where they were returning after participating in a hunting competition in Cirò, in the Crotone area.
