Transplants from Covid positive donors: first two in Bologna and Rome

The first two transplants in the world from Sars-Cov-2 positive donors to negative and antibody-free recipients made in Italy: no infection. A 64 year old man al Sant’Orsola of Bologna and a 15 year old boy al Infant Jesus of Rome they received a new heart thanks to a derogation from the National Transplant Center to the experimental protocol on organ harvesting from positive donors.
