In terms of weather, during the “Spring Festival” period, some areas in the south were 1 to 2°C lower than the same period in previous years, and the staggered peak travel combined with rain and snow cooling will make some areas in the south usher in the “colder” Spring Festival in recent years.
During the Spring Festival, Shanxi, northern Shaanxi, Ningxia, central Tibet and other places may experience periods of strong cooling and snowfall. Attention should be paid to the adverse effects of local snow accumulation and road icing on traffic travel. On the whole, during the “Spring Festival Transport” period in 2022, the weather and climate conditions in most parts of the country will generally have little impact on road traffic travel, but some areas may experience periodic and localized freezing rain and snow, low visibility, freezing rain and other disasters.
