HEART
There are 37 candidates for mayor in the elections on Sunday 3 and Monday 4 October (counting from 3 pm), when in Canavese the voters of 16 municipalities will be called upon to choose the first citizens and municipal councilors. The aspiring municipal councilors far exceed 400. Politically, the most interesting challenges concern the two largest municipalities: Cuorgnè with 4 candidates and Volpiano with 6.
Cuorgnè
The after Beppe Pezzetto, mayor for two councils, is marked by the greatest uncertainty. The challengers: Davide Pieruccini, 49, worker, candidate for mayor for the Cuorgnè list is there. The list supporting his candidacy is made up of four men and six women. Five are outgoing municipal councilors, three are very young.
Caravino
A year ago the absence of candidates to lead the country had forced the prefect of Turin to appoint a prefectural commissioner. Now there are two aspiring mayors: Adriano Siletti, 62, building contractor, president of the Caravino Rescue Volunteers, and Maurizio Corazza, known as Valentino, 58, former councilor in the last legislature.

Anna Carezana, 40, freelance, a past as a minority councilor alongside former mayor Gilberto Ronchi, will challenge Giuseppe Damini, 33, a criminal lawyer. –
