A 47-year-old man died in a road accident that occurred in via delle Casce, at the intersection between Badia al Pino and Tegoleto in the municipality of Civitella in Val di Chiana (Arezzo) shortly after 2.30 pm today. From what has been reconstructed, the victim, an Italian resident in the area, was riding his motorbike when he apparently lost control of the vehicle: the two-wheeler remained on the road while the man ended up against a lighting pole and died.
The reasons for which the motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle need to be clarified. According to what has been reconstructed at the time of the centaur’s transit there would have been no other vehicles along the road. The Carabinieri intervened on site together with the health workers sent by 118 and will be responsible for clarifying the dynamics of the accident.
