Afghanistan: 1,200 evacuated from Kabul in the past 24 hours

(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 30 – The evacuation operations from Kabul airport are almost running out, with 1,200 people taken out of the country in the last 24 hours, almost all on American military flights, compared to the maximum of 21,000 in the arc of a day reached last week. CNN reports this, adding that the total number of evacuees thus rises to 116,700 starting from 14 August. (HANDLE).
