As is happening in Veneto, Italy and other parts of Europe, data in the Belluno area also speak of an increase in cases, albeit to a lesser extent than the national trend. That the virus is still dangerous is shown by the six deaths recorded last week in the hospital. Four women aged 78, 80, 83 and 89 and two men aged 89 and 90 lost the battle with the virus. To date, there are 48 inpatients: 2 in intensive care, 30 in non-critical areas and 16 in community hospitals. There are 14.90 Belluno citizens currently positive.

There are two realities with more than 2 thousand new cases per 100 thousand inhabitants (Perarolo and Danta), nine with an incidence ranging from 500 to a thousand (Cesiomaggiore, Limana, Sedico, Ponte nelle Alpi, Taibon, Agordo, Vigo, Selva, San Peter); Borgo Valbelluna, Cadore and Comelico are distinguished by an incidence between 251 to 500 new cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, while there are six realities with few cases (from 1 to 125 per hundred thousand inhabitants): Canale, Cencenighe, La Valle Agordina, Val di Zoldo, Borca and Chies d’Alpago.
