Beware of US consumer prices: Asia’s stock markets are inconsistent

SWITZERLAND At the start of the week there was a countermovement on the Swiss stock market after last week’s significant losses.

The SMI started slightly firmer and then moved up. Ultimately it rose by 0.45 percent to 11,547.14 points.
