Bluemind Foundation marks the second edition of Ubuntu’Blue Day, the annual gathering of ubuntu at work!

LOMÉ, ABIDJAN, DOUALA and PARIS, July 10, 2023 -/African Media Agency (AMA)/- Bluemind Foundation celebrates the second edition of its annual meeting of civil society organizations, public and private sectors: the Ubuntu ‘Blue Day.

L’Ubunt’Blue Day is an annual celebration inspired by the philosophy of Ubuntu, which is based on the belief that a person’s existence is only possible through their relationships with others and their community, as expressed in the phrase “I am because you are”.

Through this celebration, the Bluemind Foundation aims to honor the bond that unites employees internally and with the communities in which they live, through a unique collective experience. With this day, it is mainly a question of working for a human future of work.

On July 7, 2023, teams from Lomé (Togo) to Paris (France), via Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) and Douala (Cameroon), are actively participating in the second edition of theUbunt’Blue Day. Within this framework, a series of collective and individual activities for the benefit of their respective communities is on the agenda of the various Bluemind Foundation teams.

The activities of theUbunt’Blue Day 2023 include collective meditations, individual community services such as blood donations, environmental protection and city cleaning activities, cultural activities with children with disabilities, mentoring to young people looking for employment, donations to an orphanage and to women victims of violence or a sporting activity.

“While research has only scratched the surface of the importance of good mental health in our lives, our workplace – where we spend the majority of our time – plays a crucial role in our overall well-being. Through this celebration ofUbunt’Blue Daywe hope to promote a culture of better employee mental health and community engagement in organizations around the world!” Marie-Alix de Putter, President and Founder of the Bluemind Foundation.
