On April 21, the sub-forum “Dialogue with Hainan” of the 2022 Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference was held in Boao. Always adhere to the priority of ecological protection, improve the scientific research and monitoring support system, and explore the realization of the transformation of clear waters and lush mountains into invaluable assets. After several years of exploration efforts, the Hainan gibbon population has continued to grow, and the construction of the tropical rain forest national park has been further advanced, constantly showing the world the fruitful results of China’s national park construction and biodiversity conservation. It is hoped that all parties will work together to scientifically protect tropical rain forests, explore new ways of green and low-carbon development, and allow future generations to enjoy the beautiful nature.
Relevant foreign government officials from the Lubuska Province of Poland, the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife of Kenya, representatives of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, UNESCO, the World Bank, and Chinese and foreign experts attended the sub-forum online and offline respectively.
