Brawl in the pre-match in Castelfranco, nine “daspati” ultras

On March 13, the clashes before Giorgione-Bassano in the football championship of Excellence. Fans identified with cameras: one will not be able to attend sporting events for 5 years

CASTELFRANCO. The brawl in the pre-match of the championship of Excellence between Giorgione and Bassano on March 13 cost dear to the ultras. Treviso police commissioner Vito Montaruli issued nine Daspos against the boys involved in the clashes. One fan was the recipient of a Daspo (the ban on attending sporting events) of 5 years, the maximum possible, the other eight of Daspo of 3 years.

The identification of those responsible for the brawl was also reached through the vision of the images extrapolated from the city video surveillance which allowed the carabinieri and the Digos office of the police headquarters to reconstruct in detail the violent conduct of the recipients of the measures. Other checks are underway by Digos to identify further participants in the brawl.

The aggression would have arisen from rusts between the two supporters who had originated in the first round match. It all started with insults across the street, near the Castelfranco station. But soon we went from words to hands. Fists, beatings and belts flew. Some fans attacked a rival who fell to the ground in the middle of the road using a flagpole as a truncheon, hitting him several times in the back.

However, the story is not destined to end with the nine Daspo: some ultras have been reported for aggravated brawl.
