To accept the precautionary request of the commissioner proposed by the prosecutor Paolo Storari, was the investigating judge Carlo Ottone De Marchi who appointed a judicial commissioner sharing the proposal of this measure in place of that of the interdiction to avoid “significant occupational repercussions potentially caused by ‘business interruption’, of a company that has among its clients dental practices, private dental laboratories and the hospitals of the Lombardy Region.

The judge also validated the emergency preventive seizure of 97 thousand euros against Gianfranco Collella, a dentist at the Delmati hospital in Sant’Angelo Lodigiano among those arrested together with Giorgio Coccolo, a dentist in the Asst Milano Nord clinics.

The investigating judge in the validation order spoke of “a corruption affair perpetrated” by Roberta Miccichè, with the help of her close collaborators, against doctors on duty at public hospitals in Lombardy “among which” they can be included ” , in addition to Colella and Coccolo, also the doctors “Pietro Paolo Poidomani, Francesco De Micco and Umberto Lorè”.

According to the reconstruction, “professionals, in their role as doctors of public structures and, therefore, as public employees, have received money and / or undue benefits from the owner of Wisil Latoor (…) to prescribe prostheses, accessories and orthodontic artifacts in excess and / or unnecessary, thus increasing the related prices and charges, then directly paid by the unwitting patient “.
