To solve the problem of “unhealthy longevity” for the elderly, the plan proposes that by 2025, the proportion of general hospitals at or above the second level with geriatric medicine will reach more than 60%; focusing on the problem of insufficient senior care talents, the plan proposes that by 2025, every thousand elderly people will have a proportion of over 60%. The number of social workers should be maintained at more than 1; in response to the phenomenon of “hard to find” a university for the elderly, the plan proposes that by 2025, there will be at least one university in each county (city, district, banner)…
The plan calls for strengthening the main responsibility for the implementation of the plan in all regions, strengthening the organization, coordination and supervision of the implementation of the plan, incorporating the main task indicators of the plan into the local economic and social development plan, into the practical projects for the private sector, and into the government work agenda and target responsibility assessment content.
