One person died and three others were seriously injured in a road accident that occurred in Lamezia Terme at the Salerno junction of the A2 Mediterranean motorway.
A car, a Citroen Pallas, in which four people from the same family were travelling, for reasons still under investigation, violently impacted the traffic island. The driver died while the other three people were pulled from the wreckage by the firefighters of Catanzaro and the Lamezia Terme detachment. Seriously injured, they were taken to hospital by air ambulance and ambulance.
