VALPERGA. On Tuesday afternoon in Valperga, around 4 pm, a resident hit an elderly person with her car in her electric wheelchair near Piazza Unità d’Italia in Valperga. The accident occurred between Strada Borelli and Via Villa: a young woman aboard a Fiat Panda overwhelmed a pensioner from Valperga with mobility problems. The man, conscious after the impact with the car, was transported to the hospital in Ivrea for investigations. The Locana carabinieri intervened on the spot, who took care of reconstructing the dynamics of the accident, with the collaboration of the motorist, unharmed, but upset and sorry for the incident.
