A story that began as the “Felice Faccio Professional School Royal” founded in 1922 with the Royal Decree of Vittorio Emanuele III and today an integral part of the XXV Aprile Faccio Institute with offices in Cuorgnè and Castellamonte.

The important birthday of this prestigious institute was celebrated on Tuesday 3 May in the headquarters in via Pullino in Castellamonte and saw the participation of the public and local authorities – together with the mayor of the Municipality of Castellamonte, the deputy mayor and the councilor delegated for education, educational system, school network of the metropolitan city of Turin, but it was also an opportunity for the presentation of the exhibition points that will be set up within the same school on the occasion of the 61st Ceramics Exhibition scheduled for next August.

Over the years, the school has trained many professionals who have been able to combine art with craftsmanship. Here was also born the section «Designers of architecture and furniture», next to «Art of ceramics» and «Art of fabric». In the Thirties it was directed by the sculptor Delfo Paoletti and had prestigious teachers as the artist Leo Ravazzi.
