BORGO VALBELLUNA. The sale agreement between Ideal Standard and the consortium of Venetian entrepreneurs for the launch of the new Ceramica Dolomite was presented to the Ministry of Economic Development today, Monday 20 June.

The meeting actually follows the formal signing deed by Ideal Standard and the industrial consortium made up of Finint Spa, Delfin Sarl, Luigi Rossi Luciani Sapa and Za-Fin Srl, of the agreement for the sale to the latter of the Borgo Valbelluna production site and the Ceramica Dolomite brand with effect from 1st June.

The agreement provides for the transfer of all workers to the new company and marks the beginning of the new industrial season for Ceramica Dolomite and its workers. The reindustrialization work carried out by the institutional table, set up at the Veneto Lavoro corporate crisis unit, composed of the Region, the Mise, the trade union parties, the ownership of Ideal Standard and the advisor Sernet who in the agreement signed on 30 May has found full fulfillment.

“I am happy that during the meeting the value of managing this corporate crisis that we have built with all the parties involved was emphasized – says the president of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia -. Everyone agreed that the system put in place and the tools adopted (relational system between the parties, social safety nets, contractual models, public participation in the company) can be considered useful background and model in the management of corporate crises “.

The regional councilor for work of Veneto, Elena Donazzan, supported by the manager of the Veneto Lavoro corporate crisis unit, Mattia Losego, participated in today’s meeting, with some members of the structure itself: Silvia Cavallarin, Giuliano Bascetta and Giosué Giardineri. “The one implemented in the Ideal Standard case is a model that is based on the collaboration of all the parties, for which we want to thank, in particular, the trade union parties – Filctem Cgil, Femca Cisl and Uiltec Uil of Belluno – the multinational and the Venetian consortium, for sharing a reindustrialization goal that has made it possible to save jobs, production and a valuable brand in the Belluno area », concluded Donazzan.
