The Minister of Justice and Security, Gustavo Villatoro, reports that they have captured leader number 14 of the 15 who headed the MS13, dealing a strong blow to the hierarchy of these criminal structures.
Villatoro pointed out that this gang member is one of those responsible for ordering the murders of Salvadorans in March 2022, who will now have to face justice.
The gang member was captured after effective coordinated intelligence work between the National Civil Police (PNC), in a combined operation on Mexican soil with the authorities of that country, who located Héctor Oswaldo González Pérez, alias “Cruel de Western”, a ranflero of the Western Locos Salvatruchos clique.

“No gang member will escape the arm of justice; We will use all available resources to pursue and capture the last gang member, in coordination with the authorities of Mexico and Guatemala. This criminal has been returned to El Salvador,” said the official.
The gang member is accused in the first post-war trial that we are carrying out, as part of the case against 492 leaders of the MS13.
