TREVISO. At 4:10 am on Sunday morning the firefighters intervened in via Paliaga at the intersection with via Triestina in the locality of Ca ‘Noghera in Mestre for the collision between two cars: one deceased and two injured.
The firefighters intervened from the local office, secured the vehicles, and freed a 74-year-old. Unfortunately, despite the rescue, the doctor had to declare his death. The deceased was called Piergiorgio Borga di San Donà.
Piergiorgio Borga had worked for many years at the post office in Treviso, where he was employed in the central post offices. And, after hiring and moving to Treviso, he had lived in the Marca for over 30 years. After retirement, however, he returned to San Donà where he lived in via Fattori.
The other two people in the Volkswagen Golf were injured and were taken care of by the SUEM medical staff and transferred to hospital. The local police carried out the findings of the accident. The rescue operations of the fire brigade ended after about two hours.
