Today from 10:15 pm the Colombian National Team will look for a good result against Brazil in the Gold Cup.
In the run-up to its crucial confrontation against Brazil in the Gold Cup, the Colombian Women’s National Team yesterday completed its last official training session in the United States, where it is competing in the tournament.
Under the direction of Angelo Marsiglia, the Colombian players met at the training field at 10:00 in the morning to begin their preparation. The day began with a heart variability assessment, followed by regular warm-up exercises and tactical and technical work on the pitch.
At the end of the practice, both the technical director and the player Manuela Paví shared their impressions with the local and national media. Marsiglia highlighted the team’s focus on recovering the ball, noting: “We have become a very intense team in recovering the ball (…) With Brazil, we want to have control of the game.”

For his part, Paví expressed his confidence in the team, stating: «Colombia has shown that it can give more than what it showed in the Copa América. On that occasion, it was a demanding match, but today we have much more to offer (…) We are going to show it on the field.”
With the victory in their first match and leading Group B, a victory over Brazil would ensure Colombia’s presence in the quarterfinals of the tournament. However, facing Brazil represents a special and complicated challenge for the Colombian players, who are aware of the importance of maintaining concentration and playing with caution.
The match between Colombia and Brazil is scheduled for this Saturday at 10:15 pm, at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California, and will be broadcast on ESPN and Star +.
