Global Leaders Extend New Year Greetings to China
As the Chinese New Year approaches, leaders and officials from around the world are extending their warm wishes and blessings to the Chinese people for the Year of the Dragon.
Honduras Foreign Minister Reina expressed the government’s firm support for the one-China principle and hopes for flourishing relations between the two countries in the coming year. Assistant Undersecretary of Qatar’s Ministry of Information and Communications, Hassan Saeed, also sent his best wishes for good luck and prosperity to the Chinese people.
Former Prime Minister of Japan, Yoshio Kuyama, expressed his hopes for improved relations between Japan and China, and urged Chinese friends to visit Japan and help foster a better understanding and appreciation between the two nations.
Greek Minister of Agricultural Development and Food, Lefteris Avianakis, extended greetings to China and wished for prosperity and creativity in the new year. Hungarian Minister of Culture and Innovation, Cák Janos, also joined in extending his best wishes for the Chinese people and for world peace in the Year of the Dragon.
