UDINE. On Monday 7 March in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 24 new infections were detected on 1,206 molecular swabs, with a positive percentage of 1.99%. In addition, 2,019 rapid antigenic tests have been carried out, from which 163 cases (8.07%) were detected. The number of people hospitalized in intensive care has dropped to 9, while there are 162 patients hospitalized in other departments.
As regards the trend in the spread of the virus among the population, the most affected group is the 20-29 year old (17.11%), followed by the 40-49 year old (16.04%) and the 30-39 year old 50-59 (both 15.51%).
Today there are four deaths: an 83-year-old man from Udine (who died in RSA), a 77-year-old man from Paularo (who died in RSA), a 59-year-old man from Latisana (who died in hospital) and a man from 52 years old from Casarsa della Delizia (who died in his own home).
Overall deaths amounted to 4,809, with the following territorial subdivision: 1,176 in Trieste, 2,292 in Udine, 915 in Pordenone and 426 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 290,123, the clinically healed 136, while the people in isolation are 16,684.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 311,923 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 67,563 in Trieste, 129,293 in Udine, 75,391 in Pordenone, 35,114 in Gorizia and 4,562 from outside the region.
As far as the regional health system is concerned, the following positives were found: in the Giuliano Isontina University Healthcare Company of a nurse, a doctor, a social health worker and a midwife; two nurses in the Central Friuli University Healthcare Company; in the western Friuli health authority of a rehabilitation therapist; to the Irccs Cro of Aviano of a doctor.
There are no infections in the residences for the elderly in Friuli Venezia Giulia among guests or operators.
