There are 12,877 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours compared to 13,686 yesterday and 11,555 last Saturday. According to the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health, the swabs carried out were 596,898 (yesterday 557,180) with a positive rate of 2.2% (-0.3%). The deaths in the last 24 hours are 90 (yesterday 51), never so many since last June 8 when they were 102. The total number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic is now 133,627. Ordinary hospitalizations are also growing, by 78 units (yesterday 59) for a total of 4,826, and intensive care, the number of which rises to 624 (+18) with 68 admissions on the day (yesterday there were 58).
Piedmont
859 new Covid cases were reported today by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region, of which 385 after antigenic tests, equal to 1.4% of 63,333 swabs performed, of which 55,776 antigenic. Of the 859 new cases, 495 are asymptomatic (57.6%). The cases are divided as follows: 389 screenings, 363 case contacts, 107 with ongoing investigation. The total of positive cases becomes 401,322, divided as follows on a provincial basis: 32,990 Alessandria, 19,365 Asti, 12,635 Biella, 57,564 Cuneo, 31,141 Novara, 213,681 Turin, 14,903 Vercelli, 14,367 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 1,664 residents outside the region but in charged to the Piedmontese health facilities. The remaining 3,012 are under development and territorial assignment. Two deaths reported by the Crisis Unit for a total of 11,881 deaths tested positive for the virus, divided as follows by province: 1,593 Alessandria, 725Asti, 439 Biella, 1,469 Cuneo, 952 Novara, 5,675 Turin, 545 Vercelli, 377 Verbano-Cusio- Ossola, as well as 106 residents outside the region, who died in Piedmont.
Valle d’Aosta
With 45 new positive cases compared to 10 healings, the current number of positives in Valle d’Aosta reaches 599. Compared to yesterday, patients in intensive care have dropped from 2 to 1, while 15 are hospitalized in Covid wards, one in more than yesterday. This is what we read in the bulletin of the Valle d’Aosta Region. 479 people have died since the start of the pandemic in the Alpine region.
Liguria
360 new Covid cases have been registered in Liguria in the last 24 hours compared to 4,449 molecular swabs and 11,301 rapid tests. In detail, 95 have been identified in the province of Imperia, 66 in Savona, 146 in Genoa and 52 in La Spezia. This is what emerges from the Alisa bulletin of the Region. No deaths were reported for the same period of time: hospitalizations decreased to -5 with 156 in the ward and 20 in intensive care. Instead, 197 are healed.
Campania
There are three new hospitalizations for Covid in the intensive care wards of Calabria. There are two in the hospital of Catanzaro and one in that of Cosenza. As for the care wards, there are two new admissions. There was another death, bringing the total death toll to 1,492. The new infected are 279, 7 more than yesterday (total 92,269). The swabs carried out were 4,800 (1,417,981 in total). The positivity rate is 5.81%, the same as yesterday. The active cases are 4,130, with an increase of 144, while the isolates at home are, overall, 3,999 (+139). The newly healed reach 134 (total 86,647). These are the daily data relating to the Covid-19 epidemic communicated by the prevention departments of the provincial health authorities of Calabria and reported in the daily bulletin issued by the Region.
Tuscany
he Region of Tuscany records another 10 deaths from Covid in 24 hours. The latest victims (average age 85.3 years) are from the areas of Florence (five), Prato and Pisa (two), Lucca (one). The total deaths from Covid reached 7,398 since the beginning of the epidemic (Lucca and the province today reach 700 victims). Also detected in 24 hours, 477 new cases (average age 40 years) bringing the total in Tuscany to 300,052 positive since the beginning of the pandemic (+ 0.2% on the total of the previous day). The healed grow by 0.1% and reach 283,970; there were 183 in 24 hours for the negative swab. The currently positive ones are today 8,684 (+ 3.4% on yesterday). Among them there are 294 patients (-3 people the daily balance compared to yesterday, equal to -1%) of which 48 in intensive care (-1 person the balance, equal to -2%). There are other 8,390 positive people in isolation at home, as they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment, or are symptom-free (+287 on yesterday equal to + 3.5%). In addition, there are 18,951 people in home quarantine (+740 on yesterday, + 4.1%) also isolated, in active surveillance of the ASL because they have had contact with infected people.
Puglia
Today in Puglia 20,305 tests for Covid-19 coronavirus infection and 299 positive cases were recorded: 78 in the province of Bari, 19 in the province of Barletta, Andria, Trani and 23 in that of Brindisi, 74 in the province of Foggia, 54 in the province of Lecce, 45 in the province of Taranto and 3 residents outside the region and 3 in the province to be defined. In addition, 2 deaths were recorded. Currently there are 3,953 positive people, 136 are hospitalized in a non-critical area and 22 in intensive care. Overall, since the beginning of the emergency, the total cases were 278,763 compared to 4,720,803 tests performed, 267,927 people recovered and 6,883 those who died.
Sardinia
In Sardinia there are 125 new cases of Covid today, based on 1948 people tested. A total of 7153 were tried, between molecular and antigenic. The patients hospitalized in the intensive care units remain 13 and in the medical area 61. There are 2513 cases of home isolation (46 more than yesterday). There are 3 deaths: a 92-year-old man, residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, another 83, residing in the province of Sassari, and a 76-year-old woman residing in Southern Sardinia.

In the last 24 hours in the Marche, hospitalizations for Covid-19 have exceeded 100: now they are 103 (+6 compared to yesterday). The number of patients in intensive care (23) was unchanged, while they increased in semi-intensive care (28; +5) and in non-intensive wards (52; +1); nine were discharged. This was announced by the Health Service of the Region. In one day there are two deaths related to the pandemic – an 85-year-old from Senigallia (Ancona) and an 86-year-old from Fano (Pesaro Urbino) – and the regional total of victims rises to 3,148. There are 427 new positives in 24 hours, the incidence rises from 162.3 to 171.90. There are 90 guests of territorial structures and six people under observation in the emergency rooms. The total of positives grows up to 4,869 (+191) and quarantines for contact with positives to 9,580 (+171) while those recovered / discharged are 114,867 (+234).
Abruzzo
Today in Abruzzo there are 70 recovered from covid 19 and 219 new cases of coronavirus positivity between the ages of 1 and 91 years. The death toll from the virus remains at 2,586. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 80,565 people have recovered. Currently in the region there are 4,174 positives for the virus (149 more since yesterday). In the covid medical areas of Abruzzo hospitals, the number of beds occupied is 98, 7 more than yesterday. 9 people are hospitalized in intensive care, 2 more than yesterday. 4,067 people remain in home isolation, 140 more since yesterday under active surveillance by the ASL. There are 15 new positives residing in the province of L’Aquila, 91 in the province of Chieti, 48 in the breaking latest news area, 62 in Teramo since yesterday and investigations are underway for 3 people.
Friuli Venezia Giulia
Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia a total of 728 new infections have been detected: 665 out of 8,395 molecular swabs with a positive percentage of 7.92% and another 63 cases out of 16,456 rapid antigenic tests performed (0.38%). Today there are 6 deaths: a 100-year-old man from Ronchi dei Legionari who died in a residence for the elderly, an 88-year-old man from Savogna d’Isonzo who died in hospital, an 87-year-old man from Trieste who died at home, an 84-year-old man from Capriva del Friuli who died in hospital, an 84-year-old woman from Trieste who died in hospital and, finally, an 82-year-old man from Gorizia who died in hospital. The number of people hospitalized in intensive care is down to 26, while there are 260 patients in other departments. This was announced by the deputy governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.

Third day over 2 thousand new cases of Covid 19 every 24 hours in Veneto. The updated report of the Region speaks of 2,113 new cases since yesterday for a total of more than 27 thousand people currently in isolation. A dramatic surge in hospitalizations with 34 new hospitalizations in medical areas and two in intensive care. Six deaths.
