Covid is still present in the province: there are 2,072 positives of which 883 registered in the week from 25 April to 1 May
BELLUNO. Three deaths in one day, 2,072 positive in the last week and 47 hospitalized in a non-critical area in the hospitals of Belluno and Feltre and 17 in community facilities. These are the numbers that photograph the presence of Coronavirus in the province
At the end of April, three elderly ladies of 95, 78 and 75 years respectively hospitalized in provincial hospitals lost the battle with Covid.
The new cases detected in the week from April 25 to May 1 were 883 (-287 compared to the previous week), with a consequent weekly incidence rate of 442 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, lower than the national incidence (616 per 100 thousand inhabitants ). The most affected by the virus continue to be the middle age groups aged 25 to 64.
Furthermore, in the last seven days 7,178 swabs (of which 2,708 molecular and 4,470 antigenic) were performed by the Ulss Dolomiti teams. To these are added 3,831 antigenic swabs performed by local pharmacies, 78 swabs by freely chosen pediatricians and 128 by general practitioners. On average, around 805 swabs per 100,000 inhabitants are performed every day.
The Covid treatment activity with monoclonal antibodies also continues, which has already reached 393 total doses while 179 treatments with antiviral drugs have been administered.
