COUNTRY. Crash at dawn on the Castellana in Padernello: the toll is two injuries, one of which is in serious condition. The accident occurred at 6.30 just before the Alì supermarket, on the border with Istrana.
According to an initial reconstruction, the Volkswagen Polo in which the two young women were traveling would have invaded the opposite lane, crashing with a truck that was running on the other lane.
A tremendous, frontal impact. In a few minutes the Suem118 ambulances and the Traffic Police arrived on the spot.
La Castellana was closed to allow rescue. One of the two young women was intubated and taken to Ca ‘Foncello in serious condition, while the other was injured but to a lesser extent.
The repercussions on traffic are also heavy. Long queues were formed in both directions.
