Cyclist dies struck down by cardiac arrest: attempts at resuscitation are useless

CANEVA. A cyclist was rescued on the morning of Sunday 20 February in Stevenà, a hamlet of Caneva, due to an illness that proved fatal. Some passersby gave the alarm.

The health workers sent from the Sores di Palmanova power station by ambulance and self-medication arrived on the spot, together with the Caneva carabinieri.

Unfortunately, the attempts to revive him are in vain.

The man, who is estimated to be between 50 and 60 years old, did not have the documents with him and it was therefore impossible to trace – at the moment – his identity.
