This was stated by the regional councilor Luigi Icardi to the representation of the mayors of the ASL / To4, on the occasion of the meeting to take stock of the situation. The timing of recruiting and sending this staff to Asl / To4 is not yet clear, but, given the critical situation, it should be short. Meanwhile, the 6 doctors aged between 29 and 64 who responded to the ASL / To4 call for work for emergency services are all recruited until the end of the year. Non-specialists will have to work in a team and in the presence of a structured tutor and will only deal with white or green codes. The ASL / To4 will spend 24 thousand euros, the 6 doctors will have to activate a specific risk insurance policy for emergency medicine activities. Meanwhile, in August, the point will be made on the participation of doctors in competitions. The deadlines expire on August 16 for 10 positions in emergency medicine and 3 in surgery, and on August 26 for 10 positions in paediatrics, 30 for 12 positions as anesthetist and 7 as internists.
Icardi had met the representation of the mayors of the ASL / To4 after the request of the mayor of Rivarolo, Alberto Rostagno, as spokesperson for the homogeneous area, to talk about the future of the Cuorgnè hospital, with the emergency room still closed despite the structures dedicated exclusively to Covid we have had the green light to return to their original activity.
