DRC: The new Prime Minister will face two major challenges – Capsud.net

Félix Tshisekedi named the new boss of the national executive this Monday. This is Judith Tuluka Suminwa, former minister of planning in the Sama 2 government.

She is the first woman to occupy this position since the DRC existed. His nomination arrives
in a very particular context marked by the aggression of the DRC by Rwanda as well as the effects of two recent global crises (Covid-19 and the Russo-Ukrainian conflict), on the national economy.

Faced with these major challenges, the “first” Prime Minister of the DRC must rely on the rise in power of the FARDC, the peaceful cohabitation of communities, the revival of agriculture, the construction and rehabilitation of road infrastructure, the reduction of the lifestyle of institutions as well as the fight against corruption and embezzlement, without forgetting the dialogue with the real instigators of the wars in the East of the DRC.

The construction sites are undoubtedly large, but with work accompanied by rigor and deterioration it can achieve exploits.

It is worth noting that Judith Tuluka holds a master’s degree in applied economics, specialization, financial management, from the economic faculty of Mons, in Belgium.
