Explosion in an apartment in Pinerolo: one victim

An apartment exploded this morning in a building in Piazza Sabin 6, in Pinerolo, causing the death of one person.

There was a collapse in the exploded apartment on the third floor. Firefighters are working to extract the overwhelmed person from the rubble, while nine teams are busy extinguishing the flames that in the meantime have spread and enveloped much of the third floor. On the spot also the carabinieri of the Pinerolo company and several ambulances to help the possible injured. The causes of the explosion, which occurred around 7.40 am, are still unknown.
