Tel Aviv: Israel’s military intelligence chief, Major General Aharon Haleiwa, resigned after admitting his failure to stop the attack by the powerful Palestinian resistance organization Hamas.
According to foreign media, Aharon Haleiwa accepted responsibility for the failure to stop the Hamas attack on October 7. He is the highest-ranking figure to resign after the October 7 attack.
A spokesman for the Israeli army says that the chief of the Israeli army has accepted the resignation of the chief of military intelligence, thanking him for his services.
