VALDOBBIADENE. “I just killed a woman. Here is the knife. Arrest me ». It is 13.05 when Fabrizio Biscaro shows up at the door of the Valdobbiadene carabinieri station. At the barracks, the news of the murder came just under half an hour, when there was not even a vague description of the murderer yet. Biscaro had on his clothes stained with Elisa Campeol’s blood.
A shirt and a pair of jeans. With him a backpack, inside which he had placed the kitchen knife with the congealed blood on the 6-inch blade. He was in a daze.
The rest is the breaking latest news of a drama that took place on a sunny day like any other. When he came out of the barracks, after several hours, he looked confused. “I didn’t know the victim,” he would say, “I felt I had to hurt someone.”
Fabrizio Biscaro has always lived in via Posmon, with his mother Tatiana, a housewife, and his father Mario. He also has a sister, Margot. A secluded street, nestled under the vineyards. The doors are always open, in the inner courtyards in the evening you sit on a chair and chat, more and less. Neighbors describe him as a quiet type.
“I saw him come and go,” says the neighbor, who yesterday did not understand where the family had gone and when she found out what had happened, she fell ill. “He often gets busy with the plants in the garden.” Beyond the house, before the road, in fact, there is an enclosure with flowers and fruit, shelves and objects of the trade, which Fabrizio evidently knew how to handle.
Recently employed by a company, Dhe di Follina which produces components for heating systems, those who know him a little better describe him as a particular type, at least “strange”. He was followed in the past by the Mental Health Center and six months ago he was at the center of an episode of self-harm.
“But he was a quiet young man, never had any problems with him,” says a neighbor. If he had serious problems related to the psychic sphere, no one knows how to answer. But that it was a bit peculiar and gave problems to the family, it shows in the faces. His parents, however, didn’t tell much.
«He has a great passion for cycling» explains another neighbor, «he often gets ready with his racing clothes and goes out with his mountain bike». Until now he had always done odd jobs, like the one he had lately.
Family life. «They are united, they are always together. He magic with his parents, we chat in the evening, especially with his father ».
Then, however, someone also says that some time ago he had some problems with a girl from the village. “He was trying to meet people on social media or on the web, he asked this young woman for friendship, but she took it, we don’t know what had happened.” Country rumors.
What is certain is that he had a great passion for cats, which were also stationed yesterday in front of his house and who are caressed, they say, only by him. “He was tenderness, he was always with cats.”
