Finance Minister Christian Lindner (FDP) is receiving applause from the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania economy with his push to abolish the solidarity surcharge for companies. The leading association expects Lindner to attend the annual reception in Hasenwinkel today.
At the meeting in Hasenwinkel Castle near Schwerin, the FDP politician will show “how the federal government wants to face the current challenges in the new year,” according to an advance announcement. The title of the reception is “Quo vadis, Germany? Ways out of the crisis”. The According to the results of the latest association survey, the economy in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania continues to lose confidence in 2023 after an already weak year.

The Association of Business Associations for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is the umbrella organization of currently 50 employer, business, specialist and regional associations.
