The 2024 edition of ‘SquiLibri – Festival of Narrations’ is scheduled for June, an initiative conceived by the writer Peppe Millanta in view of which, the ‘Scuola Macondo – l’Officina delle Storie di breaking latest news’ has announced the third edition of the literary prize dedicated to ‘flash stories’.


A recognition aimed at all Italian and foreign citizens who have reached the age of majority. You can participate in the competition by sending a single free-themed story of your own production, published or unpublished, in Italian, even if it has already been awarded in other similar initiatives. The story must be a maximum of 5 thousand characters including spaces and the anonymous essay (it must not be signed and must not contain the author’s data) must be sent to the address [email protected] by May 14th.


These are the expected prizes: first place: plaque of merit plus 500 euros; second and third place: plaque of merit. Furthermore, the ‘Scuola Macondo – l’Officina delle Storie’ will also award, at its discretion, 2 scholarships for its courses to the participants deemed most deserving. The finalists and winners will be notified in advance of the jury’s judgment. The presence of the winners is mandatory for the awarding of the prize. The awards ceremony will be held on a weekend in June, as part of the SquiLibri Festival in Francavilla al Mare (Chieti). The jury is made up of writers Marco Marrucci, Kristine Maria Rapino, Giampaolo Rugo, Francesca Scotti, Loretta Santini, Paolo Zardi.
