OLBIA. The Noe carabinieri returned to the city yesterday and seized another dangerous bridge, the one over via Thomas Edison, on the outskirts of the city, between the districts Orgosoleddu and Isticadeddu. One of the 18 “incongruous” works that ended up under accusation in the investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office on the failure to execute a plan for the safety of the city from hydrogeological risk.

Eighteen between bridges, railway bridges and the underpass of via Amba Alagi, structures considered dangerous because they would prevent the flow of water in case of heavy rain and which they should have already been demolished.

From the investigation conducted by Noe and coordinated by the prosecutor Gregorio Capasso it emerged that “the existence of such infrastructures is still considered a condition of potential danger for the territory and the population, as well as being identified as a contributing cause of the floods in 2013 and 2015”.
