Today we will discuss “June 4th” with you. I believe my friends have read too many related reports. What I want to discuss with you is the topic of what legacy the June Fourth Movement left us. Why did the entire West still choose to believe in the CCP after the June Fourth Movement? This also includes how Japan, a country with complicated relations with China, lost a big deal on the June Fourth issue.
At that time, many Hong Kong and Taiwan stars once collectively created and sang a representative song. The long and short 32 years have passed. Today, almost everyone talks about June 4th, democracy, students and many topics related to the CCP—even those with tasks. Fifty cents, as well as the little pink who is brainwashed and ignorant about it, in fact, there are no exceptions.
At the very least, they all know that today is a very sensitive and special day, and they are even so sensitive that candle expressions are not allowed on a Weibo network in Nuo Da.
In other words, even Fifty Dollars and Little Pink know very well that today is a day that the CCP is particularly afraid of. They will also be curious and try to understand what makes the CCP so afraid of this day. Some people learned the truth little by little, and slowly revived their reason and conscience. This is how life is, constantly choosing between good and evil, and constantly determining one’s own future, until the day when the final judgment comes. The human world is like this. Good and evil coexist. The blood shed for freedom will awaken some people’s desire to continue fighting for freedom, but it will also show some people the opportunity to eat human blood.
Many years ago, there was a small official in the system. When I was talking about June 4th, he raised a question very seriously. He said: You study history all day long, but even if you understand history, What’s the point of understanding the truth? I don’t know anything about it, and I’m not interested at all. You think I’m alive and well, at least a lot better than you. What use is it for you to understand this history? I find it meaningless.
Everyone knows that I am a talented person who is sloppy and clumsy. At that time, I suddenly didn’t know how to answer him. It seemed that the answer was not ideal.
What is the use of understanding history? I think maybe everyone will have a different answer, but as far as I know now, I think I know how to answer him. History is actually a record of all past right and wrong behaviors of a country and nation, to leave a reference for future generations to distinguish between true good and evil, right and wrong, right and wrong, and black and white.
The reason why we now know what the thoughts and behaviors of human beings should be, what is right and what is wrong, all these morals and ethics, etc., are actually inherited and learned from historical records.
“June 4th” is an extremely evil and ugly record for the CCP. Once you understand it, the CCP’s legitimacy will no longer exist. Therefore, the CCP must desperately cover up, just like the truth of the Great Famine or the Cultural Revolution in the past. . The difference is that the CCP has never admitted to the June 4th massacre or vindicated it.
Speaking of rehabilitation, this is an important theme to commemorate the “June 4th” every year. In the past, we saw every large gathering at Victoria Park in Hong Kong to commemorate the “June 4th” slogan banners “Rehabilitation of June 4th”.
Should the “June 4th” be vindicated? Of course it should, but it should not be done by the CCP. Before the “June 4th” movement, “rehabilitation” has always been an important means for the CCP to play with each other. Every time the CCP used the left hand to suppress the large number of people who were persecuted, it would use the right hand to “redress” all the CCP’s crimes. All the CCP’s crimes seemed to have disappeared, and the victims were satisfied. They would even be grateful to the CCP. I will also tell everyone without sensationalism: look at how arduous our party has gone through a difficult path of exploration.

This is the treacherous and cunning nature of the CCP, so the CCP does not deserve to vindicate it. We all know that Deng Xiaoping once said a murderous remark before the June 4th massacre: Killing 200,000 people will guarantee 20 years of stability.
Looking back at this period of history now, looking at this sentence, we will find a very strange and contradictory problem, that is, since this regime can be so vicious, it is not easy to kill 200,000 people and keep the red world. How can it be possible that in the subsequent reform and opening process, just because it has made some money and has enough food and drink, it will automatically move towards democratization and complete the peaceful transfer of power?
This is obviously a huge paradox, a huge hoax. But what is strange is that the entire West actually believes this statement, and believes that sooner or later the CCP will change its mind and take the initiative to embark on a path of goodwill.
In fact, on this point, the leaders of the CCP, including Deng Xiaoping, have publicly stated on many occasions that the CCP can never engage in democratization and liberalization. For example, as early as the end of 1986, when Deng Xiaoping met with Gabonese President Haji Omar Bongo, he said: “We are doing the four modernizations, and people say yes, but the four modernizations in some people’s minds are different from the four modernizations in our minds. The four modernizations in our minds are the four modernizations of socialism. They only talk about the four modernizations, not socialism. This has forgotten the nature of things…We cannot make concessions on this issue.”
On page 123 of Volume 3 of the “Selected Works of Deng Xiaoping” published in 1993, it also clearly stated: “China must modernize, must not engage in liberalization, and must not follow the path of Western capitalism.” In fact, throughout the Deng Jianghu era. “Anti-peaceful evolution” has always been the basic strategy of the CCP throughout.
In other words, the CCP has made it clear that it will not change. The so-called reform and opening up has only one purpose, which is to rely on capitalist nourishment to grow the body of socialism.
However, the whole of the West has always believed in saying that “economic reforms will lead to political reforms” and “opening up will promote democratization”, and they have believed it for 40 years.
This is the most successful strategic deception launched by the CCP after I saw the “June 4th” movement.

[Lesson from Japan: Why it opposed sanctions against the CCP]

On December 23 last year, the Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan published a total of approximately 16,000 pages of diplomatic documents. Documents related to the June Fourth Movement showed that the massacre of students by the Communists in Tiananmen Square on June 4, 1989 After the people’s incident, the Japanese government at the time decided on the same day to adopt a harmonious response policy against China and oppose the sanctions imposed on the CCP by members of the Western Group of Seven. This made Japan the only government that opposed sanctions against the CCP at that time.

The document further stated that “China’s adherence to the reform and opening-up policy is also in the interests of the West. Based on this view, it is necessary to urge China to show that it will become a country acceptable to the international community, and countries should gradually repair their relations with China.”
As a result, only one and a half years after the June Fourth Movement, Japan resumed providing loans to the CCP totaling more than 7.7 billion U.S. dollars in November 1990, and Western countries successively lifted sanctions and continued to cooperate with the CCP. According to media reports, Japan Airlines did not use cargo planes for the delivery of AstraZeneca vaccines to Taiwan this time, but used passenger planes to carry cargo. The Taiwan branch of Japan Airlines confirmed that the flight number of the passenger plane carrying the cargo was JL809, and it had successfully arrived at Taoyuan International Airport on the afternoon of June 4. So, we see a combination of 8964 appearing here very coincidentally.
Is this a mere coincidence? Obviously not. Japan is a country with an Eastern way of thinking, and it is very clear about the pain points of the CCP. It was obviously a deliberate arrangement to use Flight 809 to carry the vaccine that the CCP didn’t want Taiwan to get the most, and to arrive in Taiwan on June 4th. This arrangement shows that the current Japanese government no longer cares about the sensitive points of the CCP. This is of course of great significance in diplomacy. I think Japan’s awakening is real. How did Japan wake up?
