Former Russian mini-football player, two-time champion of the aggressor country, 43-year-old Vyacheslav Moskalenko, died in the war in Ukraine, reports championat.com with reference to the AST-54 Black Telegram channel. Earlier, the father of the Russian vice-champion of Europe in biathlon met his death on Ukrainian soil.

Vyacheslav Moskalenko is a two-time champion of Russia (2003 and 2004), a three-time winner of the National Cup (2000, 2003, 2004) and the winner of the national Super Cup (2001) in mini football. He played for the Novosibirsk “Sibyryak”, the Moscow “DKI-Gazprom”, “Dynamo” and “Spartak”, as well as for the Southern Irish club “TTG-Java” and “Mytishchi” near Moscow.
As part of the Russian national team, the world champion among students, who ended his career in 2012, played at Euro-2003.
