“Loyalty, seriousness and spirit of service” was presented like this Francesco Prospero in front of an audience of over 600 people on the occasion of the opening of his electoral campaign on Friday 19 January at the Plaza restaurant in Vasto Marina.
“Healthcare is an important issue, thanks to the work of President Marsilio there will soon be a tender for the construction of the new hospital, but how many tenders for vacant medical staff continue to go unfulfilled? We can have all the structures and machinery we want, but if our area is not attractive to those who should come to live and work there we will continue to have a problem of qualified medical personnel. The issue of healthcare can only be resolved by inserting it into an overall strategy that takes into consideration infrastructure and transport, economic development, tourism, the rural environment and the culture of our territory. What I can do are not banal promises but to make what is most precious to me available to you: my time.”
