The programming of the Francofolies de La Réunion, 7th edition, was partly revealed this Tuesday, January 23, 2024. SCH, Eddy de Pretto, Jeanne Added, Olivia Ruiz and Bon Entendeur will perform, among many other artists, on stage from La Clairière to La Saline-les-Bains from September 3 to 8.

The organizers unveiled this Tuesday, January 23, part of the program for the Francofolies de La Réunion 2024, which will take place from September 3 to 8 in Saint-Paul. During a special evening, the public was invited to follow live the announcement of the invited artists for this 7th edition of the festival in Reunion, on the Clairière à la Saline site.

By creating a certain suspense, the organizers listed the names of those who will perform on stage in a few months: Jeanne Added, Eddy de Pretto – already invited to Sakifo 2018 -, Olivia Ruiz, the Marseille rapper SCH, the electro by Bon Entendeur, but also the Belgian singer Mentissa, for the most famous.
The Péi scene and the Indian Ocean zone will also be part of the party with, among others, Ousanousava who needs no introduction, the Maloya electro artist Aleksand Saya, expected on the Flamingo stage dedicated to Reunion artists.
Added to this first salvo revealed, the pop singers Julien Granel and Adèle Castillon, the electro-swing of Caravan Palace, the Franco-Cameroonian trap artist Yamé, the reggae of Dub Inc, and finally the singer and novelist Clara Ysé.
These first 15 names will be completed, from the month of June, by other artists who will perform in schools and on neighborhood stages, but also at Santa Cruz in Saline-Les-Bains, at the Village des Francofolies. This is also where the public will also be able to enjoy free activities, including skateboarding, graffiti, moringue demonstrations, and of course concerts. Other dates are also planned at Teat Plein Air in Saint-Gilles and Lespas in Saint-Paul.
Finally, zanbrocal and its wood fire carry have already been announced on Sunday September 8 in the morning, at the Ron Batay Coq in Saline-les-Bains.

As for the city of Saint-Paul, it claims to have worked on reducing noise pollution, but also on the shuttle system to avoid inconvenience for local residents. For the rest, the organizers say they have simply renewed last year’s system. “We stuck to the things we experimented with last year and which worked well. We anchor the things that worked well“, says Jérôme Galabert, organizer of the festival.
The ticket office has already been open since 7 p.m. this Tuesday evening, on the Francofolies de La Réunion website. Prices have, however, increased slightly, with the exception of reduced prices for unemployed people, associations and partners.
“The pre-sale price increases to 30 euros per evening, until the end of June. From the end of June, we will return to a price of 35 euros, and when the doors open at the last moment, to 40 euros. It’s increasing because everything has increased. All production slips have increased: artists’ fees, accommodation, etc.“, explains Jérôme Galabert, festival manager.
