From now on, transfers from Bancolombia to Nequi will be charged

Through social networks, different Bancolombia users have shown the additional charge for transactions, which ranged from $500 pesos + VAT for Nequi and $7,190 + VAT for other banks. Given the reaction of Internet users, Bancolombia reported the new rates that will be applied depending on the type of account managed.

According to the entity’s website, there are four new types of accounts and each of them has particularities in terms of the value per transaction, both transfers and withdrawals. For example, the account called ‘Gold Plan’ will have unlimited transfers to Nequi, as well as withdrawals at ATMs or correspondents. Only the ‘Zero Plan’, which has no cost, does not have transactions to Nequi.

And Nequi?

And they added: “At Nequi we believe in the democratization of banking and that is why we maintain our essence and business model: we provide a heart of free financial services so that people can save, organize their money, manage their resources, make digital payments. and make shipments, without additional costs.
