On March 26, Tang Jiaru, manager of the construction company of the aided Fangcang cabin hospital, said in an interview with Harbin Daily: At the invitation of the provincial epidemic prevention and control headquarters, the company sent nearly 1,000 construction workers and management personnel to support the local cabin hospitals on the 12th. building.

Recently, 293 people have returned to Harbin one after another, and some people tested positive in the nucleic acid test on the ground. At present, all 293 people are under centralized medical observation. In the next step, the company will implement “in-situ management and control” to resettle those who have not yet returned.

On the 26th, Wang Hao (pseudonym), a migrant worker who went from Harbin to Jilin to assist in the construction of a makeshift hospital, told The Epoch Times: On the 14th, they came to the Gaoxin North District of Jilin Shipbuilding District to build the makeshift cabin. There was no electricity and it was very cold.”

“The next day, the leader found us a shopping mall under renovation in Changyi District, Jilin. More than 300 migrant workers, some from Jilin and some from Changchun, all lived in the shopping mall, and the underground was very chaotic.”

Wang Hao disclosed: “Working on the construction site, three meals a day have to be robbed. Sometimes breakfast is not enough, and some workers can’t eat it.” Moreover, he has to work continuously for one day, one night and one day before he can rest for one night.

He said: “It is estimated that there is no good rest, and the body’s resistance is low. By the 20th, some people will feel uncomfortable. The Eighth Bureau of Construction will collectively do nucleic acid for us. Two people are positive, and the antigen has made two bars.”

“At that time, we reported to the leader, and the leader did not give a specific response.” Wang Hao said: “Two new crown patients and more than 300 of us stayed for another night.”

“The next morning, everyone was talking about this. Most of the workers were worried that they would be infected and went downstairs. But they didn’t know who to turn to to report the situation.” They called the hotline 12345 and called 110 for help, but no one responded.

Wang Hao said: “We stood on the street and stood near RT-Mart in Changyi District for a day. The people nearby took pictures and tweeted and posted on Weibo, and the leaders paid attention. We were transferred away on the evening of the 21st.”

Wang Hao disclosed, “After the square cabin in Jilin was built, the company asked us to go to Changchun to help build it. Many of us didn’t want to go because we were afraid of the epidemic. We waited collectively in Jilin and wanted to go home.”

“Then the government arranged us to a hotel in Changyi District.” Wang Hao said, “Three people in one room, no bed and no quilt. We stayed for one night and two days. We did nucleic acid tests, and a large number of people were positive. “

“More than 160 of us were taken to a hotel in Shulan, and we were isolated in one room. Just yesterday (25th), most of our nucleic acid tests were positive.” Wang Hao pointed out: “The epidemic prevention station gave us the test, Nucleic acid has been done 4 times and all confirmed positive.”

“They took us to Jilin Longtan Fangcai Hospital overnight for treatment. Our Fangcang is a dormitory building of a chemical engineering college. All of us have been diagnosed, some serious and some mild.”

Wang Hao revealed that more than half of their more than 160 people have been infected, and the nucleic acid results on the 26th have not yet come out. He estimated that “the whole army was wiped out”. Another migrant worker, Mr. Liu, who was isolated in the Xiaohongtu Fangcai Hospital in the Chuanying District, also said that all 19 people in his team were infected. The cabin he lived in accommodated two or three hundred people in a large room, basically all of them were full.

“I gave them some medicine this morning, but there was no treatment,” Wang Hao said. “I’m weak in my limbs now, and I can barely get enough to eat with a boxed lunch.”

Wang Hao said: “We are now diagnosed, and we can’t find any leaders. Whether it was because of the leadership’s mistakes or whatever that caused us to get sick in the early stage, let’s not discuss this matter. I think we should discuss it now. Quarantine costs.”

“People who go out to work are very poor. They don’t have much money at home. There are old people and young people. They are delayed for a few months, and they can’t make ends meet.” Wang Hao said: “Many people can’t pay their mortgage and car loans. There is not much savings, who would take this risk in order to earn a few hundred dollars with savings.”

On March 25, the mainland portal “NetEase” also released a video of migrant workers asking for help.

The worker said: “I’m an ordinary person from Harbin, and I came to help Jilin’s construction. When we got off the bus at Fangcang Hospital, no one would care about us. Give us expenses and don’t let us go home.”

He said: “Hundreds of people are placed in such a small dark room. The room is very cold, and the water in the ground has frozen into ice. Many, many people have been diagnosed, and we are so afraid to go home that we begged the relevant departments and People from the media, intervene in the investigation and help us, we really don’t know what to do, it’s too scary, we want to live.”

He said: “We are workers from Harbin to support the construction of Fangcang warehouse in Jilin. Many people have been diagnosed and have outbreaks of infection. So far, no one cares.
