DAX – The 18,000 mark is in sight

Market participants love big, round numbers. The next 1,000 step for the DAX is imminent. This will probably be achieved today. The recent upward move has prevented a corrective move. The indicators are not giving much indication at the moment as they have been in overbought territory for some time. The strong statistical phase in the DAX is now imminent. Since the index has been on the rise for some time, this phase could begin with a consolidation, which is not unusual and therefore healthy for the further course of the trend.

S&P500 – Low volatility and strong trend

The US index continues to be in an uptrend that has no volatility. Corrections also only take place intraday, if at all. The indicators are not helping as they continue to trade in overbought territory. The trend is therefore likely to continue, although a corrective movement is becoming increasingly likely. The overarching upward trend is likely to continue, as the statistics predict a strong phase here too.

Gold – Finally new record highs

Gold has reached a new record high within a few days. The area above USD 2,100 has now been sustainably overcome. So far, gold has only been able to penetrate this zone intraday. With the recent increase, the indicators have moved into overbought territory and are now facing sell signals. After an upward movement, as has been observed in the last few days, a corrective movement is nothing unusual and is completely healthy for the further trend.
