The former president of Ecuador, Guillermo Lassojoined the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Analysis and Social Studies (FAES)according to a announcement official of the organization. «It is an honor for me to be a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Analysis and Social Studies (FAES), led by the former president of the Spanish government, José María Aznar»wrote Lasso in X.

The objective of the FAES, according to the institution itself, is “to nourish the thinking of the liberal reformist center with political proposals that influence decision-making and have an impact on public opinion.” The foundation publishes books and the magazine Cuadernos de Pensamiento Político.
