Stefano Cucchi can now finally rest in peace. After the Supreme Court confirmed the convictions for the carabinieri Alessio Di Bernardo and Raffaele D’Alessandro who massacred and killed Stefano Cucchi in October 2009, committing them 12 years in prison, his sister Ilaria – who in all these years has fought for the truth – he dedicated a post on Facebook, with a photo, to greet him forever: «Twelve years and six months. The time has come to say goodbye. And here and so I dreamed of doing it. Now I can let you go. I love you my brother. I will always want you », with a final heart.
The photo shows Ilaria Cucchi crouched on a purple flower planter in a place that could be the Marche, where Ilaria and her partner Fabio Anselmo, lawyer of the Cucchi family, often go on vacation. A way to say goodbye to her brother who died after the beating of the carabinieri over twelve years ago.
