From Thursday 9 June the Olympic pool will be usable by 210 people at a time instead of the 130 under the Covid emergency
UDINE. The Palamostre outdoor swimming pool reopens today, Thursday 9 June, even if the weather forecast and the expected bad weather risk compromising access.
However, good news for swimming enthusiasts and for all those who will choose it as a privileged destination for the summer period. Until 4 September it will be possible to go swimming or sunbathing every day from 10.30 to 19. Two time slots have been created for agonists, from 8.15 to 10.15 and from 19.15 to 20.30.
Once the grip of Covid has been loosened, the numbers for access to the structure will change: the Olympic pool will be usable by 210 people at a time instead of 130, the recreational one by 40 instead of 20 and the stands will be available again, for a maximum of 200 people. However, reservations will remain mandatory and only the outdoor showers will be used, not those inside the changing rooms.
In 2021, the Palamostre outdoor pool was attended by 17,869 people from June to September, with a peak of 6,606 in July and 5,300 in August. This year the goal is to do even better, approaching the 2016 record of 23,931 admissions.
